Autumn at Flockhill

As the crisp autumn air settles in it's time for another Lodge Insider, Flockhill’s seasonal newsletter for those with an adventurous spirit and refined taste.

In Autumn, Flockhill is ideal for outdoor adventures, whether it's guided hiking across the boulder ridges with mountain backdrops or biking along scenic trails, all on a private sheep station... as the sun sets, the clear night sky comes alive for stargazing enthusiasts.

There’s no better way to experience the season’s beauty than on horseback. Join our guide, Heather, for an unforgettable horse-riding adventure through the golden valleys of Flockhill Station. Connect with nature and explore parts of the station on horseback. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a beginner, Heather will ensure you have a safe and memorable journey.

We’re almost finished building our restaurant, Sugarloaf. Named after the peak in the centre of our Homestead view, Sugarloaf Restaurant in the Southern Alps will host guests for all meals during their stay- unless, of course, a picnic lunch is prepared for an outdoor activity. Our head chef, Taylor Cullen, will be moving on site this Autumn to be ready for opening day.

As a Lodge Insider exclusive this season, Taylor is sharing his insights on cooking over fire and how this will drive his vision for Sugarloaf. For access to this and more exclusives, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter below.
